These are absorptive acoustical polyurethane foam panels in a pyramid pattern. There does not appear to be anything wrong with these panels.

Just PLEASE NOTE the other photo which states that polyurethane foam is NOT CLASS A FIRE RATED and will produce toxic fumes and burn rapidly if the panels catch fire.
